    1907: 7,941 individuals naturalized
    1908: 25,975 individuals naturalized
    1971-1980: 1.5 million individuals naturalized (main areas were Europe, Philippines, Cuba and China)
    1981-1990: 2.3 million individuals naturalized (main areas were Asia, Canada and Mexico)
    1991-2000: 5.6 million individuals naturalized (main areas were Philippines, Vietnam and Mexico)
    2001-2010: Over 5.6 million individuals naturalized (main areas are Philippines, Vietnam and Mexico)

    Try taking the main battery AND the "clock" battery out. Leave them out for at least 15 minutes [longer is fine]. Then re-insert clock battery and then main battery.

    Check that there's no buttons being stuck in.

    gcformeornot is correct. You cannot "transfer" an I-140 approval, but you can keep and use the PD for any subsequent I-140. Once a new LC is approved, a copy of the I-140 approval notice with the 10/2007 PD should be included in the new I-140 submission along with a request to use the old PD on the new I-140 approval notice.

    While we all sit and wait in this painful 485 retrogression, I am just wondering, what if the retrogression pulls on past the 3 year extension (attained after the initial 6 years and I140 approval).

    I have my perm LC/I140 approved/485 retrogressed with a PD of Feb 2006.
    Being EB2 and starting my 7/8/9 years in early 2007, I am a bit unlikely to hit that scenerio, but someone like me in EB3 is very likely to hit that scenerio...

    Does anyone know, what happens after 9 years on H1 and not able to file 485 due to retrogression??

    My fiancee is from Tijuana, Mexico and she has two children aged 11 and 14. They all have BCC laser visas, which allow multiple crossings into the US. I am a US citizen and live in San Diego, 25 miles from the border.

    Here's my concern: her 14-yr old daughter will turn 15 on Jan 8, 2008, at which her BCC visa expires.

    If my fiancee and I get married after the expiration date of her daughter's visa, and I file for the family-based adjustment of status I-485, will that affect our application process?

    In other words, do my fiancee's and her children's BCC visas need to be current in order for their applications to be approved? Will the daughter's visa need to be renewed before we can move forward? :confused:

    BUT I have heared that if she gets some research-work in any University / non-profit organisation, they do give special work permit immediatly unlike H1 where u have to wait till October... IS THIS TRUE?

    Hello.

    I have lived 6 yrs here & became a U.S. Citizen last Sept. 2010. Last February 2011 i was diagnosed of Breast Cancer. It's been pretty rough living alone without any relatives around. My husband works oversea and he travels frequently, he can't change his job right now, this will be the source of our income to support my health situation. In the next two months my doctor told me to do another surgery on my breast. I did fine with my first surgery as my husband stay home for a couple of weeks while waiting his next project. I'am thinking if it possible for me to petition my knee to live with me in the U.S. as i will need a assistance with all therapy and with my 11 yr. daughter. I am from the Philippines.

    Please advice.
